I have just started an import export agency. I am based in cardiff, south wales and will be operating as a sole trader working from home. I will be contacting manufacturers abroad who are looking to export sports and leisure goods, food and drink, textiles and toys. I will then secure a contract with them as their agent in the united kingdom to begin with and will then look for wholesalers and retailers who are interested in thier products. I will operate on a strict results only basis and will receive commission once sales have been achieved.
